The first of which will be a tea garden workshop on the 30th and 31st May 2024.
This is a great opportunity to learn techniques used to prune and maintain pine and bamboo within Kingston Lacy. We will be looking at different approaches and different species of bamboos and pines.

We are excited to announce a new programme of workshops in collaboration with Kingston Lacy.
The first of which will be a tea garden workshop on the 30th and 31st May 2024.

Only for JGS members. Non-members will need to sign up to the Japanese Garden Society.
Priority booking is given to members in the South West region, email southwest@jgs.org.uk if you would like to join from another region.

Note, this is a two-day workshop. Priority will be given to those able to attend on both Thursday and Friday. If you are only able to attend on one of the days, please email Tessa Tricks southwest@jgs.org.uk with your contact details and you will be added to a waiting list.

Upcoming workshops
November will see a second 2-day Japanese garden workshop. We will be working throughout the areas of the Japanese Garden. Work will include Thinning and pom pom of bamboo. Selective tree work and a detailed look at the work that goes into maintaining the 6 acres of Japanese garden at Kingston Lacy.
