South East Region Zoom Meeting
November 26 @ 2:00 pm - 4:00 pm
The South East region is hosting a Zoom Lecture on Sunday 26th November at 2pm The agenda for the meeting will be:
Introduction to our latest RHS scholar – Ben De Lee. As many of you know the SE region, through a generous donation from a member, is financing the studies of an MHort student on the RHS programme. We’ve been fortunate enough to meet our 2 previous scholars and will no doubt hear more from them as their studies progress. It is so important to us as an organisation to be able to foster the interest and knowledge to ensure the future maintenance and development of Japanese Gardens through this programme. We are also hoping to have a short presentation on the MHort programme from the RHS.
Presentation from Howard Healey on ‘Versatile Tranquility: Adapting Japanese Gardens to Any Space’
Howard needs no introduction to many of you and we love hearing about the gardens he has designed and built. This time he will be showcasing the adaptability of Japanese gardens to any space through some of his recent garden projects. Additionally he will provide us some insights into the collaboration with Kazuyuki Ishihara at RHS Chelsea Flower Show 2023.
This promises to be a really interesting afternoon and there will of course be time for questions and discussion.
If you would like to join the meeting please contact the secretary at firstname.lastname@example.org
