JGS National conference 2025

The conference theme is “Japanese Gardens of Britain and Ireland: Design, Construction, Restoration.”

Talks & Speakers:

1. Graham Hardman: Overview of public Japanese gardens, their history, and design processes.
2. Angela Davies: Working with Professor Fukuhara on garden projects like Kew and Tatton Park.
3. Robert Ketchell: Insights from designing and restoring Japanese gardens in the UK.
4. Diane Crawford: Facilitating audience discussion on JGS’s future role and projects.

There will be an option to book a place for a private tour round the famous Japanese garden at Tatton park on the Saturday 17th May for JGS members only.
